We are delighted to announce that the second "2nd Iskenderun Iron and Steel Symposium" will be held at the Iskenderun Technical University main campus on September 4-5, 2026, following the first one which took place at Iskenderun Technical University on November 21-23, 2019.
The mission of the "İskenderun Iron and Steel Symposium" is planned to provide professionals and researchers with the opportunity to share and discuss their current problems and/or knowledge at the highest level, and to collaborate in order to generate new information and solutions in the field of iron and steel. This year, the symposium will be organized in a broad format with domestic and foreign participants, covering a wide range of technical and non-technical research areas such as current developments, existing problems, new production systems, new and high-quality steel production, energy, quality control, marketing, and finance in iron and steel, as well as the subject of Metallurgy and Materials. In this context, the symposium is expected to serve as an important bridge between academics and industry representatives.
