Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy

This notice has been prepared to inform data subjects in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), published in the Official Gazette on 07/04/2016. Anyone who shares personal data through the AssosiaMICE website is deemed to have accepted the terms set out in this notice.

1. Processing of Personal Data and Its Purpose

Visitors to the AssosiaMICE website are not directly asked for personal data, and sharing personal data is not required to browse the site.

However, when certain features are used (e.g. creating a supplier account, submitting an event/supplier/venue/advertising request, filling in the contact form), personal data such as name, email, phone number, or company/institution name may be requested and processed, in line with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, for the following purposes:

  • Contact and identification data: used for registration, application review and communication.
  • Supplier/event account information: retained to operate the account and the related listing services.
  • Site usage and navigation data: processed to improve user experience and service quality.

2. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data is collected electronically through application/contact forms, supplier account registration, and other related forms filled in by our users. AssosiaMICE does not obtain personal data collection services from third parties.

The data subject is responsible for the accuracy and currency of personal data submitted to AssosiaMICE.

    3. Transfer of Processed Personal Data

    Your personal data, lawfully collected and processed, may be transferred to our business partners or official authorities where necessary to improve service quality or to fulfill our obligations under applicable law.

      4. Special Categories of Personal Data

      Special categories of personal data (race, ethnicity, political opinion, religious belief, health, biometric/genetic data, etc.) are not processed without the explicit consent of the data subject, except where expressly permitted by law. AssosiaMICE does not request or process such data unless legally required.

        5. Rights of the Data Subject

        As the owner of personal data you have provided to us directly or indirectly, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the KVKK. You may exercise these rights by submitting a written request to assosiamice@gmail.com:

        • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
        • To request information about how your personal data has been processed, if any
        • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
        • To know the third parties, domestic or foreign, to whom your data has been transferred
        • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
        • To request deletion, destruction or anonymization of data once the grounds for processing no longer apply
        • To request that any correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
        • To object to a result that is to your detriment arising solely from automated analysis of your data
        • To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data
