MarFresh 2018 was the first edition of the International Marine & Freshwater Sciences Symposium series, jointly organized by İskenderun Technical University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and Harran University.
Supported by Payas Municipality, the Iskenderun.org Sektörel platform, Mavi Yeşil (Nature & Science) and local sponsors including Değirmen Reklam and Madam Seta İpekçilik.
The symposium later grew into a recurring series — its most recent edition (MarFresh 2026, 3rd International Marine & Freshwater Sciences Symposium) is also listed on this calendar.
