The second MarFresh Symposium, held face-to-face and online, uniting marine and freshwater scientists in Şanlıurfa.
MarFresh 2021 was the second edition of the International Marine & Freshwater Sciences Symposium series, hosted by Harran University and held both face-to-face and online due to the pandemic.
Co-organized with Haliliye Municipality, the Iranian Society of Ichthyology, Tunç Alabalık and Palas Academic, with support from Akademik Birlik Derneği and Mavi Yeşil (Nature & Science).
Selected papers were channeled toward partner journals FishTaxa, Acta Biologica Turcica and Ecologica Montenegrina.
